Roman Numeral

Roman numerals are the numerals used in the Roman System of Numeration, which is terribly inefficient, difficult to deal with, and possibly drunk. Roman numerals have a symbolic value rather than place value. Each numeral has a specific value associated with the symbol instead of its place in the digit set.

Specific roman numerals

  • I - 1, the loneliest number.
  • V - 5
  • X - 10
  • L - 50
  • C - 100
  • D - 500
  • M - 1000
